Alexa Rank – 7.27.09

As of our last monitoring of our Alexa rank as documented in “Alexa Rank Monitoring” we had a rank of 335,598. Our current rank as reported by Sparky is 325,240, a decrease of 10,358 in two days! Here are the next five websites that we are aware of with their corresponding rank:

1. Henri Bendel – 318,408
2. Global Sugar Art – 285,326 (Decreased 3,320)
3. Hitsville – 275,709 (Decreased 25,780)
4. WP-Smooth – 273,922 (Increased 1,294)
5. Cake Journal – 265,735 (Increased 5,594)

Henri Bendel is a new website that I just became aware of since my last article reporting our Alexa rank while reading “Meatball Sundae” by Seth Godin. That website had dropped 1,435 places since I had discovered it yesterday on July 26, 2009. It’s pretty cool to think that we are nearing the rank of a high-end retailer referenced by a best selling author! Cake Spy has since dropped from the list as it is outside of our range of interest for the time being.

One of the more interesting aspects of doing this is becoming aware of new websites and blogs. It will be fun to see what turns up in the near future!
