Hi Jaime - I definitely appreciate the links; it is one of the things I find most valuable about social media - the ability to share information quickly. It appears that we have used social media in similar ways, I hope to outline usage in a later article. The webinar was valuable - and I look forward to reading both books! Thanks for stopping by and commenting!

Hi Al - Thanks for writing a great summary of the Twitter usage for the Hubspot webinar, certainly adds credibility to the topic. Also, thanks for visiting and commenting - I hope to see you back sometime!

I am glad that you appreciate me being a link junkie. I am glad that people benefit from what I post and that it does not go unnoticed.

If you haven't picked up David Meerman Scott's book "The New Rules of Marketing and PR," you need to pick that up. It is a great read and you learn so much about Social Media. I am not sure what is in Groundswell but this practically breaks down the old rules and shows you why they don't work and then it shows you why the new rules work.

As far as Linked In. I am trying to use that to raise money for Corporate Sponsorships. I think that would be a great place for a Non Profit to try and cash in. By having all the CEO's, marketing professionals and decision makers all in one central location. I think that would work when you are looking for sponsorship for something. I am still testing out my theory but I think I might have found one sponsor for LLS that way. By using your status message to try and capture attention I think that would make the most of the situation on LI.

I do think that I am using Facebook for more networking and I do get noticed more on there but as far as networking goes. I try and use all three with a dash of message boards thrown in and then going to live events where people seem to know who I am. I am hoping that this will lead to a paying position in social media.

It is a great read and I can only imagine what his webinar was like. Probably worth your time in gold. He is so insightful on things.
